Fermi Smith

Fermi Smith, CDCA, CT, is a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant and Counselor Trainee in Ohio, with advanced training in integrated behavioral health. He has been accepted into the Doctor of Behavioral Health program at Arizona State University, starting in 2026. Fermi is a 2024 National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Minority Fellow through the Master’s Fellow Program in Addictions Counseling. He is completing his master’s degree in counseling at Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School with a 4.0 GPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in management economics from Penn State University. He has provided clinical care in residential, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and sober living settings, supporting over 200 low-income clients in the Columbus, Ohio, area.
